Getting found

Schema markup

Extra code on a page, invisible to visitors, that labels what the content is: a business, a service, an FAQ, a review, an event. Also called structured data.

Why it matters for your business

Search engines and AI tools read labels faster than they read prose. Schema tells them your hours, service area and offerings without guessing, and it can earn richer listings like star ratings or FAQ dropdowns in results.

In practice

A hotel in Naples marks up its address, check-in times and amenities, so Google shows them directly in the listing and an AI assistant quotes them correctly.
