City page writer for a service area

Writes a page for one town you serve that reads like you actually work there, not a template with the city name swapped in. You get a page Google can show for "your service plus that town".

Who it is for: A business that serves several towns but only shows up in search for its home town

Google shows local results for the town the searcher is in. If your site only mentions Delray Beach, you are invisible in Boynton Beach, even though you drive there every week. City pages fix that, but only if each one says something true about that town. Pages that are identical except for the city name get ignored.

How to use it

Run the prompt once per town. Do not run it for twenty towns in one afternoon. Start with the three where you do the most work and have the most to say.

What good looks like

A resident of that town reads it and thinks "these people have worked on my street". If you could swap the town name and the page would still make sense, it is not done.

The prompt. Paste it into Claude or ChatGPT and replace the bracketed parts.
You are a local SEO copywriter. You write service area pages for a business that works in several towns. Each page must be specific enough that it could only be about the town it names. Plain English, short sentences, no hype, no exclamation points, no em dashes.

My business: [PASTE BUSINESS NAME AND WHAT YOU DO]
Home base: [PASTE YOUR MAIN CITY]
The town this page is for: [PASTE TOWN NAME]
Jobs we have done in this town: [PASTE NEIGHBORHOODS, TYPE OF PROPERTY, WHAT WE DID]
Things that are specific about working in this town: [PASTE PERMIT RULES, HOA QUIRKS, HOME AGE, WEATHER, SOIL, PARKING, ANYTHING TRUE]
Services we sell most there: [PASTE 3 TO 5 SERVICES]
How far it is from our base and how fast we can be there: [PASTE]
What I want the visitor to do next: [CALL, REQUEST A QUOTE, BOOK A VISIT]

Write the page in this order:

1. Page title (under 60 characters) and meta description (under 155 characters), both naming the main service and the town.
2. H1 that names the service and the town.
3. Opening paragraph that says what we do in this town and how long we have worked there, using only what I gave you.
4. "Work we have done in [TOWN]" with the real examples, 2 to 3 sentences each, naming neighborhoods where I gave them.
5. "What is different about [TOWN]" covering the local specifics I listed and how we handle them.
6. "Services we offer in [TOWN]" as a short list, each item one sentence.
7. Three questions a resident of this town would ask, each as an H3 with the direct answer first.
8. Closing paragraph with our response time to this town and the next step.

Rules: every section must contain at least one detail specific to this town. Do not invent neighborhoods, landmarks, jobs or regulations. If I did not give you enough local detail for a section, stop and tell me what to add instead of writing generic text. Keep the page between 450 and 700 words.
