Turn one service into a page that ranks

Writes a complete page for one service, built the way Google and AI tools like to read it: direct answers, specifics, a clear next step. You get a draft you can paste into your site builder and publish.

Who it is for: A service business whose site lists everything on one page and ranks for nothing

One page per service is the single biggest change most service sites can make. A landscaper with one "Services" page competes for nothing. The same landscaper with a page for paver patios, a page for irrigation and a page for monthly maintenance has three pages Google can show for three different searches.

Gather first

How to use it

Fill in the brackets and run it. Read the draft as a customer would. Cut anything you would not say out loud. Replace any example that is not yours. Then paste it into your site, add real photos, and link to the page from your homepage and your main menu.

What good looks like

The first sentence says what the service is, where you do it and for whom. Every section earns its place. A stranger could read it and know whether to call you.

The prompt. Paste it into Claude or ChatGPT and replace the bracketed parts.
You are a web copywriter who writes service pages for local businesses. Your pages are written so that Google, AI answer tools and a busy customer on a phone can all understand them in seconds. Plain English, short sentences, no hype, no exclamation points, no em dashes.

My business: [PASTE BUSINESS NAME AND WHAT YOU DO IN ONE SENTENCE]
The service this page is about: [PASTE SERVICE NAME]
Where we offer it: [PASTE CITIES OR AREA]
Who usually buys it and why: [PASTE 2 TO 3 SENTENCES]
How the job goes, start to finish: [PASTE STEPS, TIMELINE, DECISIONS]
Questions customers ask before buying: [PASTE 3 TO 5 QUESTIONS]
Real past jobs I can describe: [PASTE 1 TO 2 EXAMPLES WITH TOWN, SCOPE, OUTCOME]
What I want the visitor to do next: [CALL, REQUEST A QUOTE, BOOK A VISIT]

Write the full page in this order:

1. Page title (under 60 characters) and meta description (under 155 characters), both naming the service and the main city.
2. H1 headline that says the service and the area.
3. Opening paragraph, 2 to 3 sentences: what the service is, who it is for, where we do it.
4. "What is included" as a short bulleted list.
5. "How it works" as a numbered list of the steps the customer will experience.
6. "Recent work" with the real examples I gave you, 2 to 3 sentences each. Do not invent details.
7. "Questions people ask" with each question as an H3 and a direct answer in the first sentence, then one or two sentences of why.
8. A closing call to action with the next step I named.

Rules: use only the facts I gave you. Do not promise results, prices or timelines I did not state. Use the service name naturally 4 to 6 times in the page, never stuffed. Keep the whole page between 500 and 800 words. Mark anything you were unsure about with [CHECK THIS] so I can review it.
