Google Search Console

Google's free tool that shows how your site performs in search: which searches showed your pages, how often people clicked, and any problems Google found while crawling.

Why it matters for your business

This is the only place to see the actual words people searched before finding you. It also warns you about broken pages, mobile problems and indexing issues before they cost you traffic. Every site should have it connected.

In practice

A cabinetry shop sees it is showing up for "kitchen remodel" but getting few clicks, so it rewrites the page title to match what people are actually looking for.
